Описание к видео Afghanistan - Ceasefire Broken In Kabul

(27 May 1994) Some 30 people were wounded in an artillery duel between rival
Afghan forces on Wednesday night (25/5) breaking a one-week
ceasefire agreed to honour the Moslem Eid-al-Adha festival. The
two-hour exchange in the northern part of the capital Kabul has
been typical of a war in which more than 11,500 people have been
killed since the Mujahideen government led by President
Burhanuddin Rabbani took over in April 1992.
