Описание к видео My parents moved to Nevada: 1/2 acre property in Pahrump Nevada for only $125k

So my parents sold their house in California and went shopping for property in Pahrump Nevada. We found this nice little house in North Pahrump for only $124,900.

1/2 acre lot, its got its own well as your water source, septic tank, RV parking, 3br 2ba 1093sf, fenced in yard, detached 2 car garage with a swamp cooler to keep it cool in the summer and a large drive way!

Pahrump is a small town of about 32,000 in population in the southern Nevada desert just west of Las Vegas. It provides slow quiet country living and if you are on a budget you can buy a lot of land for a low price.

Pahrump isn't an ideal place for young people since it is a very small town. But if you are retired...its a great option!

The nice thing about Pahrump vs other small towns in the area like Overton and Logandale to the north of Vegas is that it still has a downtown area with a Super Walmart, Home Depot, a hospital, a VA clinic, a dozen fast food places, a golf course, a couple gun stores, a couple banks, fireworks shops, a car/truck dealership, RV and ATV dealership and 4 casinos.

It also is the home of Spring Mountain Raceway and Front Sight firearms training facility. (Oh yeah an brothels)

Logandale & Overton are small quiet towns but do not have a Walmart and Home Depot or a hospital. They have to drive 30 minutes to Mesquite for those. Thats a little too small in my opinion.

Searchlight is also too small with no hospital or Walmart/Home Depot.

Boulder City is nice but way too expensive since it sits next to Lake Mead.

And if you want to live up a bit...Las Vegas is only 60 miles away from Pahrump.

The south side of Pahrump is flat and looks a bit older with a lot of manufactured homes spread out. The are looks a bit unkept with broken down cars and cluttered properties outnumbering the nice properties in my opinion. There are some nice properties in the south but don't expect the nicest views of the valley down there. Lots of big 1 and 2 acre lots though. Blank slates to build on.

The center of town is nicely built up with all the businesses close together which is nice if you live in the downtown area. Those are the folks with city sewer connections and traditional foundation built houses. Your standard looking neighborhoods basically.

To the north homes seem to have the nicer views since the properties are closer to Mt Charleston and the Last Chance mountain range. They are also slightly elevated so the views kinda look over the whole valley which is nice even if you have a smaller property.

There are some rough properties all over Pahrump so you just have to find a pocket neighborhood you like.

I didn't think of Pahrump as a place to live when I first moved to Nevada but now I see why older people like it. If you are retired....this is a nice quiet place to stretch out in the south west desert.
