Galleon Tank from Crusher Joe | Model Build and LED Lighting Modifications

Описание к видео Galleon Tank from Crusher Joe | Model Build and LED Lighting Modifications

Welcome to the Puramodera channel! In this video, I showcase my recent project: the Galleon Tank from the 1983 Japanese anime movie Crusher Joe. This ground assault vehicle, likely inspired by the M113 APV, was designed by the legendary mecha designer Kawamori Seiji, best known for his work on the Valkyrie from SDF Macross (or Robotech in North America).

The Galleon Tank model, produced by Hasegawa, features a highly detailed cockpit with pilots, articulated guns, rocket pods, and missile bay covers. The caterpillar tracks are a single molded piece, making assembly straightforward for beginners like myself.

In this build, I made some modifications:

Added magnets to the cockpit panel cover for easy removal and replacement.
Integrated LED lighting into the headlights, laser cannon beacons, and thruster engines.
Due to space constraints, I didn't include an on/off button for the LEDs. Instead, I used magnets to secure the chassis, allowing easy battery access and replacement.

This video supplements an article I submitted to Model Paint Solutions. You can find the link to the article in the video description. Don't forget to explore the Model Booth section on Model Paint Solutions' website for more brilliant articles!
