'ENVY' | Ogi | Dytto | Dance Concept

We often mistake envy and jealousy for the same thing. To me, jealousy is healthy. Jealousy shows us something that we want for ourselves. Envy, being, we see what we want, meanwhile we don’t want the other party to have it. Maybe we’ve all been multiple characters in this movie, but for me, I never knew I was playing a role until I was casted out (especially in my childhood-teenager years). These days I’m more okay with it. A personal emotion may not be so personal at all, and after trying everything I could to change what I thought was a chair I sat myself in, I realized the exact opposite. “No choice but envy,” meaning: we try to medicate it, but “it’s so helpless if I’m the cause.”
