From January of 1994, here is some great footage from the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas! Among others, I visited the Panasonic booth and shot some video of their third-generation video mixer, the AVE-7. Then, it was off to the Videonics booth. Videonics made some great video accessories, and here they were showing off their first digital mixer, the MX-1, which both Art and I purchased the following week. With me and Art Vuolo were two other guys, Eric (with the long hair), and John, who was a hell of an impressionist! He does imitations of Johnny Carson, Pres. Clinton (if you remember your history, that Pres. Clinton/Gennifer Flowers scandal was very recent history, and John uses it a lot!), Arnold Schwarzenegger, and others. (Both Eric and John have vanished from the face of the Earth.) Anyway, enjoy the video - lots of laughs here!!
