Marcos Commando means the era of terrorists! And when these commandos of the Indian Army go out on an operation, the enemies are left with no other option but to kneel down! Something similar happened on March 16, when the Indian Navy came to know that 35 people were killed near Socotra Island in Yemen. Somali pirates have hijacked the MV Rouen ship with 17 crew members! This ship was in the possession of pirates for the last 110 days! To rescue it, Indian Navy sent Marcos Commandos on operation. What happened next? Indian Air Force's IAF C-17 aircraft air-dropped the brave Marcos Commandos into the Arabian Sea! During the operation, the pirates started firing indiscriminately to stop the commandos. But due to the attacks of INS Subhadra, INS Kolkata and Navy drones, the number of robbers was reduced to four. At the end of this operation which lasted for about 40 hours, all 35 pirates surrendered and 17 crew members were rescued safely.
