In this video, I go through a quick unboxing of some SRAM Apex 1 components. Specifically, the 11-42 cassette, 42T crankset, long cage rear derailleur, and BB86 GXP bottom bracket.

My wife wants the simplicity of a 1x groupset (and doesn't need a lot of top end speed), so we're giving this a go.

Since her Trek Emonda is a rim brake model, finding Apex one mechanical shifters has been a challenge. I have a set of Force 1x mechanical shifters used and they're on the way.
