Canadian judoka Jessica Klimkait became World Champion in 2021 in Budapest. She took Olympic Games bronze in 2021. In 2013 she became Cadet World Champion U18 in 2013 in Miami. She captured gold at the Grand Slam in Osaka in 2018. Jessica won Grand Slam gold in Antalya in 2022, Osaka in 2018 and in Düsseldorf in 2020. Jessica took 15 IJF World Tour medals including 5 victories. She took bronze at the 2018 and 2019 World Masters. Klimkait won the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2019. She took gold at the Grand Slam in Budapest in 2020. She took bronze at the IJF Judo masters in Doha in 2021.

Haruka Funakubo
Country: Japan | Born: 10 October 1998 (23 years)
Japanese judo talent Haruka Funakubo captured the gold medal at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2021. She is the only triple Junior World Champion in the world. She won the world titles in 2015, 2017 and 2018 and she contributed to the mixed team world title for Juniors. The young judoka also won the World team title with Japan. She won the European Open in Sofia in 2017. In 2018 she took gold at the European Open in Rome. She claimed a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Osaka in 2018 and bronze at the Grand Slam of Ekaterinburg in 2019. She started 2022 with a victory at the Grand Slam in Paris.
