IPN TV Network was established in 2001 and quickly became one of the most watched Farsi speaking TV channels in the world . In 2003 IPN Miss Iran contest in Europe and the United States attracted more than 2500 contestants from around the globe and quickly became the most controversial and most watched TV program within Iran since the 1978 revolution.
