Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about the Meyers Universal Marker Kit. Now these are gonna be great for when visibility's a little bit lower outside. There's a lot of snow coming down and it's hard to see your blade. These are gonna make you sure that you know where the edge of that blade really sits, so let's check it out. The nice thing about these is that they are gonna be universal, so they'll work with most blades out there, not just your Meyers.

Let's say something happens to one of your markers, they get damaged. That's the reason to replace it. But for other blades out there, all you really need is a location to mount this with two bolts and the nuts that'll hold this into place. I'll talk about that installation process here in a little bit. But yeah, I mean that's what they're mainly for.

Since they are really easy to spot with this bright yellow and it is constructed fairly well, have a lot of resistance. It doesn't feel like if it we inchesre to smack, like let's say a tree branch or something that it's gonna break off, it is fairly flexible as well, which is important, especially when it starts getting really cold outside. Now, this will fit a lot of different blades. Like I was saying, you can actually check the specs part of our webpage to find out if it's gonna fit your blade or not. But I can also show you how to install it and you can kind of make that decision too if you have any low mounting location like we have today.

So I'm just gonna grab it from the bottom. You're gonna notice we have two holes. We also have two holes right in the inside of a blade. Line those up and I'm gonna grab the included hardware. It's gonna be a bolt, a washer, and a nut.

I'm just gonna hand tighten one of them to begin with, and then I'm gonna do the same thing for the one above. (metal clanking) Once you get those about hand tight, you're gonna find there's some resistance since these are locking nuts. I'm gonna grab a wrench and a socket wrench too. And then I'm just gonna tighten this down into place. What I'll typically do is just do a little bit at a time. So once you get some resistance on the one on the top, I'll go to the one on the bottom, just so this stays nice, up and down or nice and straight. (tool clicking) Well, yeah, that's pretty much it.
