Before the Windows 10 Creators Update, the Windows context menu had an option known as Open command window here that was available once you pressed Shift and right-clicked together on a folder.

Microsoft wants everyone to use PowerShell rather than the command prompt. So, within the Creators Update, they changed the Open command window here choice to Open PowerShell window here on the folder context menu. They also changed the command prompt options on the facility User Menu (Windows key + X) to PowerShell.

Today I’ll show you ways to feature the Open command window here option back to the folder right-click menu and to the right-click menu when you’re during a folder. This doesn’t need to replace the Open PowerShell window here option. you'll have both if you would like. But you'll also hide the PowerShell option if you don’t want it.
