Hello! This is my first time getting into proper handcam content, and first time ever getting into snap together plastic model kits, in this case specifically Gundam! The quality isn't the best, because I put together whatever I had available at home. This was my fifth stream after a forced 1 month hiatus due to disruptive house repairs, and my first stream at a new setup. This new setup allowed me to use my proper voice mic. Expect some scuff as I get used to muting and unmuting my webcam mic. If my voice ever sounds like there is more of it with reverb, it is because my webcam mic is also unmuted. Perhaps in the future I will get a dedicated device to mute and unmute the mic with my feet.

After finishing panel lining every kit, I was ready to assemble. In this video I assemble RG Wing Gundam, which is my 5th kit to fully assemble, and first ever Real Grade. As a small review I really enjoyed building my first Real Grade. I love the similarities to Master Grade, and how it is much more detailed than a High Grade. Using my build approach of having all pieces from a section in a container did give me a lot of headache, as I regularly struggled to find pieces and it increased build time. I had some difficulty with a handful of pieces and made a few mistakes, but overall the build came out great. I ultimately decided to display the kit in its flight mode. The 2 different tones of white plastic really add to the depth of detail this kit provides. I look forward to building more RG kits in the future. If I had a main complaint about the kit, it is that the stickers are very small. I need a new method of applying to be effective.

Why gunpla? Why handcam? My dad passed away November 2024 at 60 after a long battle with early onset Alzheimer's. I was looking for a new hobby to get into as a way of grieving, and back in February 2025 decided to try out Gunpla. And the rest, as they say, is history. Writing this in May, I am thankful to have discovered a new hobby I can enjoy for years to come.

Lastly a very subtle change. I have adjusted some branding to better reflect that my vtuber model is a dragon, and make this more clear to viewers. Instead of "[VR Viking VTuber]" I now have "[Dragon Vtuber]" and have added some image assets to the content, and this information in different about me descriptions.
