Part 13: Putt Punjab De Live Solo Bhangra Cup 2k24 by Rohit 'Joda' Jaura & Jugni Bhangra Academy

Putt Punjab De Live Solo Bhangra Cup 2k24 was held on August 4th in Mohali. This event was organized by Rohit "Joda" Jaura and Jugni Bhangra Academy in memory of Ustad Bachan Ram Ji. Although Ustad Bachan Ram Ji is no longer with us, his son, Surmukh, was present. Surmukh not only plays the dhol for Rohit "Joda" Jaura and the Putt Punjab De team but is also a close friend.

Highlights of the Event:
1. No entry fees were charged, and food was provided for free.
2. Heavy metal medals were awarded.
3. Children received premium diaries from the Putt Punjab De brand.
4. For the first time, trophies and prize money were the same for seniors, juniors, and sub-juniors: ₹11,000, ₹8,100, and ₹5,100 respectively.
5. Bhangra dresses were given as consolation prizes.
6. Guests were awarded 12x18-inch premium shields.
7. Special guests were honored with kurta pajama sets.

Preparations for the next event, scheduled for April 2025, have already begun.
