In this guitar strumming lesson, I’m going to go over cool ways to make your strumming patterns sound better when you play them. This lesson will be focused on strumming dynamics and strumming accents as a way of making the same exact guitar strumming pattern sounding better and cooler than the original.

The number one questions I get asked by students is, "Why does my strumming sound bad?" "Why does your guitar always sound better than mine?"

I will be sharing a couple of simple tips but also showing you many strumming pattern examples as ideas to expand your rhythm guitar playing. Students often ask me why my strumming patterns sound better than theirs even when they are playing the same exact thing.

We are going to go over that in this guitar strumming lesson. I don’t know if I would consider this a beginner guitar strumming lesson, but maybe more of a late beginner guitar strumming lesson. So if you just got started with playing the guitar, this lesson may not be the best lesson on guitar strumming patterns.
