100 Legionaries VS 100 Archers MELEE (Best Archers in Bannerlord? T5 Archers + Fian Champion)

How good are top-tier archers in melee against the best shield infantry? Note, results will differ against other infantry units, especially those with worse armor, the results here do not apply for other infantry units.

As archers rarely go into melee mode, the Vlandian Sharpshooter is still a great choice, while the Battanian Fian Champion is definitely the best out of all archers. If they were against lower tier infantry, the Fian Champ would win without a doubt when compared to the Imperial Sergeant crossbowman. Also, the video showed how the Fian Champions slaughtered the imperial crossbowmen in melee at 3:20.

The Imperial xbowman did the best from this test, as they spawn with the exact same sword & mace as legionaries too + they have the same skill in one handed (130). Only real difference is that legionaries have much better armor, but that mace works well against heavy armor.

It's become clearer and clearer after every test, that the most important thing for any unit, is definitely what weapon they spawn with. Armor & skill levels come secondary.
