I am writing to express my concern regarding the recent announcement of the Exit Exam for D. Pharm students. While I understand the necessity of ensuring high standards in the pharmacy profession, I am deeply concerned about the exorbitant fee of ₹5900 being charged for this exam.

This fee is significantly higher than the registration fee charged by the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council (MSPC), and it imposes a heavy financial burden on D. Pharm students, many of whom come from economically weaker sections. The excessive fee not only creates additional stress but may also discourage deserving students from pursuing their registration as pharmacists.

I urge you to reconsider the fee structure for this Exit Exam and ensure that it is affordable for all students, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Education and professional opportunities should be accessible to everyone, and such high fees undermine that principle.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope that you will take the necessary steps to revise the fee structure and make the exam more accessible to all D. Pharm graduates.
