This time, I pushed myself to fish it like a tournament, chasing a limit and competing against myself to see if I could finally figure it out. I covered water, switched lures, and searched for the pattern… and it paid off big time.

Not only did I finally put a solid bag together, but I also hooked into another giant — my first 5lb largemouth bass from the kayak. This day turned a tough lake into one of my best bass fishing trips yet.
