In 1993, in Greenough, Western Australia, single mother of three, Karen MacKenzie lived with her three children- 16-year-old Daniel, 7-year-old Amara, and 5-year-old Katrina. In February, all of Greenough, and in fact, all of Western Australia would be shocked by the terrible events that would take place against Karen and her children. It was so awful, that the Australian public was calling for the return of the death penalty. To this day, some of the details of what happened are hidden from the public by a rare suppression order, as the details are considered too terrible to ever be publicly released.
