In the world of Marathi literature, Bahinabai Chaudhari's poetry is a subtle commentary on life. Her poetry is defined by spontaneity, lightness, transparency, and thoughtfulness. Bahinabai's poetry is a mindful sharing of the essence of living responsibly and experiencing deeply. This documentary seeks to explore the internal and external environment of her poetry through the visual medium. The significance of this documentary is heightened thanks to the experiences shared by Bahinabai's grandson and Bahinabai's neighbor who had both spent time with her. Bahinabai's son Sopandev Chaudhari's heartfelt sharing of his observations about his mother helps to get an insight into her artistic mind. In this visual exploration of Bahinabai's village and its surroundings through different seasons and states, we have tried to touch upon the restlessness that one witnesses in her poetry. A series of paintings gives it a new dimension and a perspective of looking at poetry. In search of poetry, this documentary itself becomes a poem that prompts introspection!

बहिणाबाई चौधरींची कविता म्हणजे मराठी साहित्यामधील एक जीवनाभिमुख तरल भाष्य ! त्यांचे काव्य म्हणजे सजगपणे केलेला सहज पारदर्शी विवेकी उद्गार आहे. जबाबदारीने जगणे आणि रसरशीत अनुभवातून मर्म सांगणारी कविता करणे हे बहिणाबाईंबाबत एकमय प्रक्रिया आहे. या महितीपटात त्यांच्या या कवितेचे अंतराल आणि भवताल दृश्य माध्यमातून शोधण्याचा प्रयत्न केला आहे. बहिणाबाई यांना पाहिलेला त्यांचा नातू आणि शेजारीण यांच्या अनुभवाने तर त्याला विलक्षण उंची प्राप्त होते. सोबत बहिणाबाईंच्या मुलाने, सोपनदेव चौधरींनी आईचे केलेले हृद्य कथन आईच्या 'कवीवृत्ती' असण्याचे स्तर उलगडवत जाते. माहितीपटात बहिणाबाईंचे खेडेगाव, परिसर, ऋतू आणि विविध अवस्था यामधून कवितेच्या व्याकुळतेला स्पर्श करायचा प्रयत्न आहे. त्यात चित्र मालिका नवी परिमिती देतात आणि कवितेकडे पाहण्याची दृष्टी प्रदान करतात. हा माहितीपट म्हणजे कवितेला शोधत शोधता स्वतःच एक अंतर्मुख करणारी कविता होतो !
