Food delivery services didn’t use to be so big like they are now.

But, about 10 years ago, a service called ‘요기요/배민’ came out. It did OK, but it wasn’t a big success right off the bat.

However, as soon as the pandemic hit, it immediately took off.

Since then, (the) demand has gone up so much causing the delivery fees to nearly double in a matter of a few years.

Things have gotten so bad that people have become reluctant to use those services. Many choose to pick up the food themselves.

There never used to be any zombie movies in Korea.

But about 6 years ago, a movie called ‘Train to Busan’ came out and it was a big hit.

— Quite a few more zombie movies have come out since then, most of which were fairly successful.

Nowadays, you can still see maybe one or two come out every now and then, but the popularity certainly isn’t what it used to be.
