How to connect a new pump to the PDA

The Wellion MICRO-PUMP insulin pump imitates the principle of a healthy pancreas: the pump releases the right amount of insulin into the fatty tissue under the skin at exactly the individually specified time to cover the body's basic needs. This helps to avoid hyperglycaemia or hypoglycaemia. At mealtimes, the body needs additional insulin (bolus), which the pump user can fine-tune and call up himself via the PDA or by pressing a button (on the pump).

The Wellion MICRO-PUMP is attached to the skin with an infusion set and worn permanently on the body. Since the pump forms a unit with the reservoir and the infusion set when worn, and does not require a tube, you have full freedom of movement at all times. The small and flat design allows the insulin pump to be worn discreetly.

With the Wellion MICRO-PUMP PDA, you can deliver a bolus silently, measure blood glucose with the Wellion MICRO test strips, use the integrated bolus calculator, control the pump and view all parameters at any time.

The battery of the pump and the PDA are rechargeable (a second battery for your pump is included). To save resources, only the infusion set and reservoir need to be replaced every 3 days at the latest.

So verbinden Sie eine neue Pumpe mit dem PDA

Die Wellion MICRO-PUMP Insulinpumpe ahmt das Prinzip einer gesunden Bauchspeicheldrüse nach: So gibt die Pumpe genau zur individuell festgelegten Zeit die passende Menge Insulin ins Fettgewebe unter der Haut ab, um die Grundversorgung des Körpers zu decken. Das hilft, Über- oder Unterzuckerungen zu vermeiden. Zu den Mahlzeiten braucht der Körper zusätzliches Insulin (Bolus), das der Pumpenträger selbst über den PDA, oder per Knopfdruck (an der Pumpe), fein abstimmen und abrufen kann.

Die Wellion MICRO-PUMP wird mit einem Infusionsset auf die Haut geklebt und permanent am Körper getragen. Da die Pumpe mit dem Reservoir und dem Infusionsset beim Tragen eine Einheit bildet, und ohne Schlauch auskommt, haben Sie jederzeit die volle Bewegungsfreiheit. Durch das kleine und flache Design kann die Insulinpumpe ganz diskret getragen werden.

Mit dem Wellion MICRO-PUMP PDA können Sie einen Bolus lautlos absetzen, mit den Wellion MICRO Teststreifen Blutzucker messen, den integrierten Bolusrechner verwenden, die Pumpe steuern und alle Parameter jederzeit einsehen.

Der Akku der Pumpe und des PDA sind wieder aufladbar (ein Zweitakku für Ihre Pumpe ist inkludiert). Um Ressourcen zu schonen müssen nur das Infusionsset und Reservoir spätestens alle 3 Tage.
