Quiberon / Brittany. The band's motto in Irish is 'Ceolóirí gan Teorainneacha' which translates as 'Musicians without Borders'. The New Ross and District Pipe Band participated in the Presqu'ile Breizh 2025 music festival in Quiberon, Brittany.

The New Ross and District Pipe Band was founded in 1974 and since its inception has striven to achieve the highest musical standards. The New Ross Pipe Band has visited many countries including USA (Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Cleveland St. Patrick’s Day parade; Virginia Tattoo), Spain, Lithuania, England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and France. They have led the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in London and they have performed for Pope John Paul II in the Vatican in Rome.

The Presqu'île Breizh Festival brought together 800 musicians and dancers from all over Brittany, as well as from Ireland and Spain. The grand parade was followed by a spectacular fireworks display. This high-quality musical event, entirely free of charge, has now become a fixture in the Breton cultural landscape in France.

Le New Ross and District Pipe Band a été fondé en 1974 et s'efforce depuis ses débuts d'atteindre les plus hauts standards musicaux.
