Ram is reinvigorating its 1500 model with an array of updates, notably launching the exclusive Rebel and TRX Lunar Editions. These special edition trucks stand out with their unique Ceramic Gray color unavailable on other 1500 variants. They come loaded with a host of visual enhancements and standard equipment. However, they will be available in extremely limited quantities in the coming spring, making them a coveted choice for Ram enthusiasts.
The 1500 Rebel Lunar Edition, priced at $70,310 (plus $1,895 for destination charges), sports the new paint color complemented by black badges and a Rebel graphic on the hood and bed. It further distinguishes itself with glossy black 18-inch wheels, a dark grille, and a front bumper. The Rebel Level 2 equipment group and the robust 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine are standard, enhancing the truck's appeal. The interior features include a 12-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, heated front seats and steering wheel, and an 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat.
The 1500 TRX Lunar Edition, retailing for $106,445 (plus $1,895 for destination), boasts the powerful supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine, offering 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. The TRX Level 2 Equipment Group, TRX hood and bed graphics, 18-inch beadlock wheels, and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof are standard. Additionally, the truck includes adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, a custom badge on the center console, and an exclusive flat-bottomed steering wheel wrapped in leather and carbon fiber. To enhance the utility, Ram incorporates a spray-in bedliner, cargo tie-downs, a bed step, and an LED cab-mounted brake light.
These Lunar Editions join the lineage of limited-run 1500 models like the Havoc and Sandblast, all of which are based on the range-topping TRX. These trucks are designed to reflect the unique personality of their owners, providing an attractive blend of exterior and interior appointments for greater personalization, as stated by Mike Koval Jr., Ram brand CEO – Stellantis.
Since its launch as a standalone division in 2009, the Ram Truck brand has been committed to meeting the demands of truck buyers and delivering benchmark-quality vehicles. The brand has consistently outperformed the competition, setting new standards in terms of torque, towing capacity, luxury, ride and handling, interior space, and cargo space. The 2022 Ram 1500 was named the best vehicle in the large light-duty pickup category by the J.D. Power APEAL study, a testament to Ram's dedication to quality and customer satisfaction.
