How to Replace Machine Heads on Acoustic Guitar for Beginners (Detailed)

Welcome to the Studio Basom channel! I recently decided to give some love to my first guitar that I purchased myself over 30 years ago. This is a $200 acoustic guitar and I am sprucing it up with some ~$40 machine heads.

I thought I would document the process to share with others to show that it is not too hard for even beginners to swap out the machine heads on their guitar. You can get much better tuning in some cases depending on the quality of your guitar, in my case this was a HUGE upgrade.

These are Guyker machine heads and I bought them off Amazon. While I performed this upgrade, I also polished and cleaned the guitar and fretboard and changed out strings for a new set. Feel free to skip around in the video to see different parts, or enjoy the full film!
