#20 Games People Play (Eric Berne, 1964) | Will & Luke Discuss

Описание к видео #20 Games People Play (Eric Berne, 1964) | Will & Luke Discuss

This week we discuss Eric Berne's seminal book 'Game People Play'. Looking at the ways in which people communicate and structure time between each other through social intercourse and what he described as 'Games'. Exploring topics such as which ego state are we communicating from (Parent, Adult or Child) and how are we interacting with others (through Rituals, Pastimes, Activities, Games or Intimacy). Most importantly looking at working towards more intimate and authentic communication in which we can share our inner life candidly without utilising strategies to avoid this. We found this really interesting and particularly the areas around our humans need for Stimulus, Recognition and Structure hunger to be met. Also how transactions between people can be complimentary or crossed.

Hope you enjoy.
