Stoked. - A Film & Music Reel. // Nainoa Langer

This film reel showcases my journey of film over the last couple of years and finding a new passion in music production. It’s been a goal of mine to create something that from music to visuals, I can consider fully my own, all the music you hear, and visuals you see, was filmed, edited, arranged, mixed and laid out by yours truly, yet would still be nothing without the people who’ve been a part of it and worked with me along the way. From ice capped peaks of New Zealand, to the thick bush of the Amazon. From the endless plains of Mongolia, to the bustling streets in Brazil. From the sensory overloaded cities of Japan to the quiet, peaceful landscapes of my home; Hawaii. From the roaring thunder dome of concerts by the people I look up to, to the countless hours spent in the studio. From the camera, to the guitar, the tools of creation that bring the stoke to my life. I’m not the first, nor will I be the last, but nobody will put these together in the exact way that I have; and there lies its uniqueness. In that same way, we all have the ability to make something different.

I'm convinced that I'm simply a combination of the best people in my life. All of what I've learned, what I've done, where I've been, is because I've met amazing people who I've been blessed to work alongside with. And with that, an extremely special shout-out goes to the people who worked with me through all of these trips and helped make it all possible, Tom and Jeremy and the team at Beautiful Destinations, Sam Potter who's been my other half through most of these projects lol, the entire ILLENIUM team, Nick, Sean, Trevor, Dabin, Day, for allowing me to document their own unbelievable journeys and providing so much inspiration in music and life, and Annika for literally blessing this project with your gift. Frank and the family at Kualoa Ranch who without their support I wouldn't be where I am right now, and Bryce for the amazing work with animation. To the many friends-turned-family I've met throughout my travels, that graciously opened their homes and brought new perspectives on a world that I continue to learn about.
