Sonic Superstars is a Ton of Fun, Mostly - Full First Playthrough

Feels good to be excited for a new Sonic thing, and not only enjoy it, but have it exceed my expectations. Can't remember the last time that happened. It's a good feeling. I hope we get more in the future.

A little more on the topic of Superstars' price. Yes, Mania was $20. But I don't know about you, I would have happily paid $60 for Mania. In fact, I paid $40 for it because I bought 2 copies. No regrets. That was a steal. Doesn't mean this game is necessarily worth that much, but the Mania comparison doesn't hold a ton of water to me.

And when people complain that you're paying $60 for a 3-4 hour game, I find it weird that only Sonic is getting this. Because Mario Wonder is probably also going to be a 3-4 hour game if you just try to beat it. All the previous 2D Mario's are around that length or less. So why's it okay for Mario and not Sonic? Is this a matter of quality or quantity? Because if it's about quality, then length doesn't belong in the discussion. If it's about quantity, then complain about Mario too.
