Fairfax County's Department of Emergency Management and Security (DEMS) held a special webinar, "Clear the Shelters and Pet Preparedness," in advance of the county Animal Shelter's 'Clear the Shelter' event Friday through Sunday, Aug. 23-25, 2024. Special guest Rebecca Cavedon, communications manager with the Fairfax County Department of Animal Sheltering, explained the event, discussed hours and locations.

Clear the Shelters Hours:
Friday, noon to 7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Fairfax County Animal Shelter Locations:
Michael R. Frey Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax)
Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton).
