Displacement Reaction, Class 8

Описание к видео Displacement Reaction, Class 8

In displacement reaction, one metal displaces another metal from its compound in aqueous solution.
Iron (Fe) replaces copper (Cu) from copper sulphate (CuSO4). That is why the blue colour.of copper sulphate disappears and a powdery red mass is deposited at the bottom of the beaker.
A more reactive metal can replace a less reactive metal, but a less reactive one cannot replave a more reactive metal.
