Heart reef trip vlog - Journey to the Great Barrier Reef - Whitsundays, Australia. This travel vlog sums up the tour we did to get to the iconic and remote heart-shaped reef; one of the absolute highlights of our honeymoon (filmed at the end of 2020).

Typically visible only from the sky by a plane or helicopter ride, we show how you can get one step closer to Heart Reef by taking the one and only 'Journey to the Heart' tour (see link below for further info). We will show you everything this booking encompasses, touch on its eco-friendly nature that makes a trip like this possible in the first place, and above all highlight how much fun you can have whilst seeing one of the most beautiful pieces of ocean on earth up close and personal.

Queensland, Australia is home to the sacred Great Barrier Reef; the largest coral reef system on the planet - And the 100% naturally-formed Heart Reef is perhaps its most iconic symbol. Visible from outer space, and renowned as one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the UNESCO-listed Great Barrier Reef stretches 344,400 square km (ie 133,000 sq mi), and is comprised of about 3000 reefs and 900 islands. Truly a haven for anyone that loves the ocean and nature.

This was of course not a cheap activity to do, but it was our honeymoon so we decided to splurge a bit on what was a once-in-a-lifetime journey that highlighted some of the absolute best scenery we believe our home country has to offer.
