"Take Me Home with I Am A Soldier" performed by Doug Coppi and the Cadet Glee Club of West Point

I uploaded this production to celebrate the safe return of Captain Patrick Henshaw, a U.S. Army Ranger, from his tour of duty in Afghanistan where he and his men hunted IEDs. Who is Capt. Patrick Henshaw? He is the Cadet located in the back row and in front of the gray West Point flag singing this very moving song written by the great songwriter and Irishman, Phil Coulter.

My audience has always asked, "What has happened to these Men and Women who performed in this production in 2005?" Well, Capt. Henshaw graduated in 2008, became a Ranger, the elite corps of the United States Army, and was ordered to Afghanistan in the Spring of 2010 to lead his Men in hunting and exposing IEDs. He has recently returned Home. His exceptional Dad and I have corresponded since the release of this performance. I thought it only fitting that I showcase this performance on YouTube for all freedom loving Americans to watch and celebrate this Country's brave and very young Men and Women who put themselves in harm's way for all of us. God bless them all.

The performance of "Take Me Home with I Am A Soldier" can be seen and heard on the DVD and CD "Stand Ye Steady - Songs of Courage and Inspiration" available at http://www.standyesteady.com (in 5.1 Dolby Digital) and honoring all US Armed Forces past and present. Directing and video editing by Doug Coppi of Curtain Call Productions, http://www.curtaincallproductions.com... .
