In 1994, "Mister" Fred Rogers, a 1962 alum of the Seminary, addressed the graduating class. In his speech, he said, "Between that television screen and that little boy in need was a space of invisible holy ground used by God's Spirit ultimately to bless us both. Is it any wonder that every time I walk into a studio to make a program, my prayer is always: ‘Dear God, in whatever we do let some word that is heard be yours.'"
