Purses, handbags, and clutches are all accessories that are carried with you neatly & effortlessly to complement your look & even boost your confidence. However, incorrectly carrying a purse may actually cause us to appear awkward, unbalanced & even take away from our elegance, no matter how expensive the bag is. The key point to remember is that the kind of bag doesn't matter at all, as long as it is comfortable for you to hold, it is how you carry yourself & your bag that is most important. To first be sure that you will be carrying your bag with elegance, purchase a bag that is comfortable to carry, fitting to your lifestyle & appropriate for the occasion.

After finding a bag that is comfortable for you, the next most important point to remember when carrying your bag with elegance is to maintain elegant posture. This applies to any type of bag you may be carrying, whether it may be a shoulder bag, tote bag, hand bag, book bag, shoulder bag, clutch bag or even grocery bags! Always stand tall with your head up & shoulders back when you are carrying something, whether it is your bag or not. This will help prevent injury & stress on your back, as well as help you appear & feel more confident, which is very elegant. :) The key to keeping your elegant posture when you are carrying your purse or anything else is to stand tall as if you are not carrying anything at all. If you are carrying your purse, simply let it hang off of your shoulder, or wherever you may be carrying it, & carry yourself & your bag elegantly.

The ways to hold your bag demonstrated in this video can be used to hold other types of bags as well. For example, a backpack can be carried in the same way as a shoulder bag, except with both straps on each shoulder & your elegant posture maintained. Also, a messenger bag can be carried the same way as a crossbody bag, with the strap adjusted to minimize swinging as you walk. Even grocery bags can be carried in the same way as a handbag, by holding on to the handles with your arm relaxed & poised by your side. Just remember that the key to carrying bags with elegance is to maintain your elegant posture as if you weren't carrying anything at all.

If your bag, however, is causing a significant strain on your body & affecting your posture, then it may be to heavy to carry. Make an effort to clean out your bag as often as possible to discard any extra items that are weighing your bag down. This way your bag will be lighter which will help prevent injury & make it easier for you to carry it comfortably & effortlessly with elegance.

If carrying your bag with elegance feels a bit awkward at first, it's okay. Just keep practicing & soon carrying yourself & your bag with elegance, style & confidence will become a natural part of the graceful & beautiful you! ♥ Whichever bag you may be carrying, remember it is not the bag that determines your style but how you carry yourself & how you carry your bag with elegance, confidence & ease. That is what truly determines your style.
