Blackstone Edge Reservoir Circuit, Littleborough, Lancashire

Our Blackstone Edge Reservoir Circuit was easy and level tracks to follow just under 9miles. We passed four reservoirs in all, Blackstone Edge, Light Hazzles Edge, Warland and White Holme Reservoirs. Also a sighting of Withens Reservoir.
Starting from The White House, there's a lower public car park (deep pot holes to avoid if you can). The track follows part of the Pennine Way before turning off towards White Holme Moos. We returned back along Byron Edge then detoured behind the White House to the car park. For once, the weather was in our favour but still those gale winds around.
