Rivian Has Delivered Over 20,000 Electric Vans To Amazon So Far

Amazon’s Rivian Electric Delivery Van (EDV) fleet has surpassed 20,000 units in the U.S., delivering over one billion packages in 2024. In just four months, Rivian delivered 5,000 more vans, boosting Amazon’s fleet by 33%. With a 100,000-van target by 2030, Rivian’s production pace seems promising.

The Rivian EDVs operate in major U.S. cities like New York, Miami, Chicago, and Seattle, with over 17,000 chargers installed at Amazon delivery centers, making Amazon the largest private charging network globally. Rivian’s vans are also being tested internationally, including in Germany and Canada.
