⭕ A MAJOR CRACKDOWN “OPERATION CLEAN SWEEP-2” AGAINST PERSONS INVOLVED IN DRUG’S TRAFFICKING CONDUCTED BY THE Dwarka DISTRICT POLICE.
🔰 A TOTAL 09 ACCUSED INCLUDING 01 NIGERIAN HAVE BEEN ARRESTED WITH RECOVERY OF DRUG SUBSTANCES, ILLICIT LIQUOR & ARMS.
🔰 RAIDS WERE CONDUCTED ABOUT 50 LOCATIONS SITUATED IN THE AREA OF DWARKA DISTRICT.
🔰 CASH 3,64,040 LACS HAS ALSO BEEN RECOVERED FROM DRUG PADDLERS.
🔰 SEARCH OPERATION IS STILL UNDER PROGRESS.
The Government of India is vigorously pursuing a policy of 'Zero Tolerance' against the person involved in drug supply.
The campaign against drugs is being sincerely implemented by Delhi Police under the guidance of Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, Delhi, Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena and under the leadership of Commissioner of Police Shri Satish Golcha, IPS.
To crack down on drugs, various operations and campaigns are being run by the Dwarka Districts.
🟡 TEAM & TASKING:-
To eradicate the drug menace from the society, on 19-20.12.25, Operation Clean Sweep-2 was launched in the area of Dwarka District.
To execute the operation of dedicated teams of Operations Unit comprising Insp. Kamlesh Kumar, Insp. Subhash Chand, Insp. Vishvender, Insp. Manish, Insp. Vivek Mandola & Insp. Jitender - SHO Chhawla in the supervision of Sh. Ramavtar - ACP Ops Dwarka was deployed and directed to take strong effective action against the person involved in drug trafficking and illegal activities.
During this exercise raids were conducted at 50 different locations by the teams and a total 09 persons have been arrested with huge recovery of drug substances, cash, illicit liquor and arms.

3. *Ramesh s/o Yogesh,* R/o JJ colony Shiv Vihar, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi, aged 70 Years.
4. *Vikash @ Golu S/O Rajpal,* R/O VPO Khera Dabar, Delhi, aged 39 Yrs.
5. *Sangeeta W/o Vishal Singh,* R/o JJ Colony, Bindapur, Delhi, aged 36 years.
6. *Vishal Singh S/o Surjeet,* R/o JJ Colony, Bindapur, Delhi, aged 38 yrs.
7. Gajender @ Tinnu s/o Satbir, R/o New Roshanpura, Delhi.
8. *Vinod @ Guddu s/o Bharat Lal,* R/o Gali no. 3, Mahavir Enclave, Dabri, aged 26 years.
9. *Samson @ Cheze S/o Ohazuruike,* R/O Lagos State, Nigeria, aged 28 Yrs.

2. 62 gram Amphetamine.
3. 13 injections Avil.
4. 32 tablets of buprenorphine.
5. 105 Quarters illicit liquor.
6. One Knife.
7. Cash 3,64,040 Lacs.
Further investigation is going on to arrest the backward forward linkage of the complete eco system of the syndicate.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED:
1. Ritanshu Gund (25 years)
Resident of Hari Nagar, Delhi. Graduate. He used to assist his father in the spare parts business of heavy vehicles. He is unmarried and previously involved in one criminal case (FIR No. 665/20 u/s 354/506/509/34 IPC, PS Hari Nagar). Lured by easy money, he turned to drug trafficking.
2. Rhythm Gund (20 years)
Real brother of Ritanshu Gund. Graduate and presently studying in second year at a college in Sohna, Haryana. He is also previously involved in FIR No. 665/20 u/s 354/506/509/34 IPC, PS Hari Nagar. He joined his brother in drug trafficking for monetary gains.
With this operation, Crime Branch, Delhi Police has dealt a major blow to a narcotics syndicate operating in Delhi-NCR. Delhi Police reiterate its zero-tolerance policy against drugs and remains fully committed to safeguarding society, particularly the youth, from the menace of narcotics.
