Taliban Hunts Down ISIS K Amid Series of Attacks in Afghanistan

As Taliban tries to consolidate its power in Kabul, it is facing security threats from ISIS-K. Islamic State's regional affiliate, ISIS-K, has been leveraging Taliban’s withdrawal deal with Washington.

ISIS-K has been reportedly carrying out a series of deadly attacks in parts of the war-torn country. As a result, Taliban is now cracking down on ISIS-K and has reportedly detained at least 80 purported fighters in Nangarhar.
