FORMER YOKOZUNA WITH A STRONG DETERMINATION TO RAISE FUTURE SUMO CHAMPIONS

Late in December, former Yokozuna Kakuryu assumed the role of Stablemaster Otowayama and founded his own sumo stable, situated not far from the Kokugikan. Despite currently having only four disciples under his guidance, the latest addition to the sumo stablemasters is committed to nurturing sumo champions, much like himself.
