Porsche, VW Touareg, Audi, Hub and Wheel bearings removal and instillation in your garage in 1 hour.

Описание к видео Porsche, VW Touareg, Audi, Hub and Wheel bearings removal and instillation in your garage in 1 hour.

Porsche has hard compressed bearings and hubs but it can be removed and installed in about 1 hour in your garage, must have right tools. This is my first video. My camera moved but I hope you will get an Idea. I tried to make it self explanatory as possible. Use pause button to see details. Porsche I was working on is 2004 and the procedure will be the same for VW Touareg and Audi and most vehicles on the market with wheel bearings pressed in to spindle. (If you can't purchase "Spindle Assembly with Bearing" you have to deal with pressed bearings) If Part of the inner race of bearing stocked to the hub (Like in my case) you will have to remove it by cutting
small groove with Grinder and split it with chisel, be careful not to cut through the hub. Cut as much as you can place your chisel in between bearing and hub and hummer it out. Straight inline instillation of new bearing is critical. You will ruin vehicle spindle if new bearing go offline. Pay attention!! Magnetic side of bearing go in first, it must be facing your front differential. Prior to Removal and instillation of bearings, front Calipers, CV axles and ABS Sensors has to be removed. The Spindle can remain attached to Lower Ball Joint and upper control arm. You will have to flash your brake fluid after calipers instillation.

The Removal and instillation procedure will be the same for VW Touareg and Audi and most other brands of vehicles on the market with wheel bearings pressed in to spindle. (if you can't purchase hub assembly you have to deal with pressed bearings)
