With the December 2022 release of NX (NX 2212) we've added an exciting new Visual Rule for Product Templates that greatly simplifies and automates the process of swapping in alternate components within a Product Template assembly. While we've been able to do this with Visual Rules for several years, it previously involved multiple conditional statements and secondary internal rules to perform the actual component replacement. As you'll see here, that's super-clean now, and easy to do with just one simple rule.
