Gov. Ron DeSantis took questions about Alligator Alcatraz during an appearance to help celebrate the completion of Terra Lago’s first 30 homes — a milestone in Florida’s push to create more attainable housing options.

When asked about the Democratic congressmembers fight to get inside the facility, DeSantis accused them of fighting harder for undocumented immigrants than they do about American citizens.

He called their lawsuit to gain access "frivolous and ridiculous" and said the ability to get the facility up and running in a week was an amazing feat.
