In the medical field, there are procedures such as abortions and transgender surgeries that do not align with the Catholic faith. White discusses how important it is to ensure that medical professionals can have conscientious objections. White shares how Catholic health care differs from secular health care. On another note, SSM Health, a Catholic hospital chain in the Midwest was distributing monoclonal antibodies to treat COVID, but race was a determining factor in who received the treatment.
