롯데월드타워는 한반도에서 가장 높은 마천루가 되었다. 또한 세계에서 5번째로 높고 아시아에서 3번째로 높고 대한민국에서는 국내 최초의 최고층 건물이 되었다. OECD 국가 중에서는 미국의 1WTC(원 월드 트레이드 센터, 541m)를 제치고 가장 높은 마천루가 되며, 세계에서 두번째로 높은 전망대(500m)를 가지게 된다. 흔히 제2롯데월드라고 하는 건물이 바로 이 마천루다.

Lotte World Tower(Korean: 롯데월드타워) is a 556-metre (1,824 ft), 123-story skyscraper located in Seoul, South Korea. It opened to the public on April 11, 2017, and is currently the tallest building in South Korea and the fifth tallest in the world.
