Did you know there are 2 different basic caulking guns regular and Dripless?

The debate a lot of the time is should I buy one or the other.

I recommend having both in your tool box, because they are best used for different products!

I always use my regular caulking gun for thicker product, if you try to use a dripless caulking gun it will be very difficult to get the product out since it doesn’t build up enough pressure. So with thick products like construction adhesive, roofing tar, and polyurethane products.

Where the dripless caulking gun is my go to if I’m applying anything that is thinner like silicone caulk, acrylic caulk, and even mortar repair. I prefer dripless caulking for these cleaner jobs because it really allows you to have more control over the amount of products flow. Making it easier to apply without wasting product from using too much pressure in between applying.
