Reassembling my Taito Vewlix Diamond Blue

I got these two Vewlix Diamond Blues for a very good deal from a friend of a friend. He let them go pretty cheaply because they needed some work and repairs. Being the adventurous and confident type, I took him up on it and to my surprise they were actually in not too bad of shape! The biggest issues I had were the plastics being a bit brittle and one of the power supply connectors had broken traces on the PCB. A pretty easy repair.

0:06 - Casters: Check out the notes I left in the video. The long version is that I stripped one of these bolts and it was a royal pain to get out. I ended up using a 10mm bolt extractor. Luckily I was able to hammer that on and get it off with a breaker bar. I recommend purchasing new bolts if you can. My local Ace Hardware store had the correct bolts in stock, but not enough of them so I had to reuse a handful.

1:40 - Legs: These are mostly easy. The nutserts / threaded inserts can be VERY weak, though. I actually cross-threaded one of them and broke it loose which caused a huge headache. I was fortunately able to get the bolt out and then replace the outsert. My advice is to be very careful to not over tighten these and take your time inserting them. There are a couple that are really hard to get to next to the coin-box. If need be, ask a friend with a small arm to help on those.
