This video, shot aboard the southbound Amtrak Northeast Regional Train 173, shows the left/port side view of the entire train ride from New York Penn Station (Pennsylvania Station) to Washington Union Station in real time.

Please excuse the somewhat shaky and wobbly ride of the Amfleet coach I was riding in, as shown in the video.

Also please note that the side windows of Amfleet coaches are made not with clear glass but with Lexan Polycarbonate material that had yellowed and became scratched up and cloudy due to age. This unfortunately affected the image quality of the video.
