With the KHS Innopro Ecoclear, the KHS process engineering portfolio has been expanded to include a further future-proof filtration setup. In combination with KHS Innopro Ecostab beer stabilization, a holistic system for top product quality is now available for the filter cellar from a single source.

The KHS Innopro Ecoclear removes haze substances from beer in a crossflow membrane process at a rate of up to 540 hectoliters per hour. The modular concept of the new filtration equipment means that systems can be adapted to suit the downstream beer stabilization unit depending on filling quantities and performance. As opposed to tried-and-tested diatomaceous earth filtration, production can be in batches or continuous. In continuous production, for instance, three out of four filtration modules can be in filtration mode while the fourth is backflushed. The new crossflow transfer method ensures that all filtration modules run at the same capacity even in continuous operation. Discover these and other benefits in our video!
