I swore to never sacrifice my Warden again, so those scenes are made in the Toolset. I also decided to make other scenes in the Toolset, as you can see. It was a bit tricky to get the scenes where Surana is transparent since I had to do two versions of the same cutscene: one w/ both Alistair & Surana, & one w/ just Alistair.
Here's how I made the edit: in the editing software I use, you can make how many layers of both clips & sounds as you want. I made two layers of video: at the bottom one, I only used Alistair w/out any black & white effect. Then, on the top one, I put the one w/ both Surana & Alistair, & made it 100% black & white, but reduced the opacity so the colored version of Alistair was shining through & made him look solid & just half black & white, while the one w/ Surana got 100% black & white, but w/ less opacity so she looks transparent.
It took a while to figure it out, but I did it!
I heard this song w/ Lifehouse a long time ago. Someone had made this w/ Shrios from Mass Effect. I thought it was very beautiful & wanted to do something w/ it. After a few months, I thought that it would fit w/ Alistair & the Warden if she sacrificed herself.
At that point, I had trouble getting my Toolset to work, but when it started to work again, I started editing this tribute.
The story is that Surana couldn't deal w/ the fact that Alistair would sleep w/ Morrigan. She just couldn't ask that of him. She also refused to let him sacrifice himself & took the final blow. The story takes place a year after she died & Alistair, now the King of Ferelden, is mourning & remembering her. She's there w/ him, but he can't see her.

I have a story in my head about the scenes of her petting the Halla at the Dalish camp too:

Megara Surana has lived her whole life in Kinloch Hold. She has never seen a forest, let alone a Halla. When they go to the Brecilian Forest, she's in awe of the beauty. Curious as she is, she disappears to explore when Alistair isn't looking. She's thinking: just for a minute or two. But when Alistair sees that she's missing, he walks around in the Dalish camp looking for her. He finds her at the Halla, just looking at them.
Instead of nagging her about the mission, he just stands there observing her fascination. He's thinking how beautiful she looks in the sunshine, seeing these creatures for the first time. When she notices him, she gets embarrassed to be caught in the act of ignoring her duties. But Alistair just smiles at her.
