LIVE: China Launches Its 14th Crewed Mission Into Space With Shenzhou-19

China has launched three astronauts into space as part of its 14th crewed mission, Shenzhou-19. The mission is led by Cai Xuzhe, who previously was a part of the Shenzhou-14 mission in June 2022. The other two crew members, Song Lingdong and Wang Haoze, are young astronauts born in 1990, making this their inaugural spaceflight. Wang is currently China's only female spaceflight engineer and will become the third Chinese woman to travel to space. Of the 14 crewed missions so far, half have been dedicated to visits to China's independently constructed space station, Tiangong.
