Violin Sonata No.3 BWV 1005 4th Movement “Allegro Assai” (until 1st repeat only) by J.S. Bach

My name is Aiman from Kuala Lumpur. I’m 19 years old. I am currently on my 2nd Semester break at CCA Conservatory of Music, UiTM Shah Alam. I am guided by Mr Chia Cheng Kok, Principal Percussionist of Malaysian National Symphony Orchestra and also founder of The Percussion Store. Here is my presentation for Bach’s Violin Sonata.

It is my first experience to play violin piece on Marimba and my first time to play Bach. At first, I was really shocked. There is no dynamics. It’s just a note and a few of slur marks. I tried my best to interpret the piece and put myself as Bach. I’m thinking of a girl walking beside a garden and lakes happily with a few vision of other things like birds, flowers, butterflies and even a swans while playing this piece.
